ASTI RETAINED BY THE CITY OF FLINT HOUSING COMMISSION

Centerview Apartments

ASTI Environmental was retained by the City of Flint Housing Commission (FHC) to complete an Environmental Records Review per HUD Federal Regulation 24CFR Part 58, on FHC’s 11 developments for the work that is included in the 2015-2019 Capital Fund Grants.   The services included a complete report that met the requirements of 24 CFR Part 58 Environmental Review including completion of a Statutory Checklist and consultation with the State Historic Preservation Office through the Section 106 process.  The City of Flint serves as the Responsible Entity for the FHC federal programs.  FHC owns eleven (11) developments, (one (1) of which is scattered homes) for a total of 1,183 units. The mission of the FHC is to provide decent, safe and sanitary housing for low to moderate income families and the Capital Funds Grant is vital to maintaining and providing needed upgrades to their complexes.
