Wilderness State Park Wetland and Stream Delineation

ASTI located wetlands and streams regulated by the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) within the project corridor. This work was based on MCL 324 Part 301 (Inland Lakes and Streams) and Part 303 (Wetland Protection, as amended). The delineation and other site work were based on the Corps of Engineers’ Wetland Delineation Manual, 1987, the Regional Supplement to the Corps of Engineer Wetland Delineation Manual: NE/NC Region, and related guidance/documents, as appropriate.

ASTI demarcated the wetland limits with flagging for location by GPS unit. ASTI delivered a dimensioned graphic of the delineation, overlaying the surveyed location of wetland flagging on an aerial photograph; ASTI also provided the GPS coordinates of all wetland and stream flags for incorporation into project plans.
