City of Orchard Lake Village Environmental Consultant

ASTI Environmental provides ongoing environmental consulting services to the City of Orchard Lake Village. This work includes administering the City’s wetland, woodland, and natural features setback ordinances.
Specific duties involve verifying wetland boundaries and tree surveys, assessing ordinance violations, recommending corrective actions, and providing professional recommendations and opinions on wetland and/or natural features setback use applications.

ASTI also assisted with the rewriting of the City’s Wetlands and Watercourse Ordinance to strengthen and clarify local wetland protection. In addition, ASTI provides expert testimony on behalf of the City in contested case hearings.
